Back To School Supplies

How can you customize your back to school supplies?
I'm looking for a way to make my notebooks, notebook, files, folders, etc. Custom. I love the hobby and arts and crafts. I want my school supplies to be original.

for pockets on front and back of your workbooks, you can make a collage of magazine clippings, you can take strips of different colors and patterned paper or stop and make a striped pattern cool. or you can press the flowers by putting them between book pages and use them in your pocket binder, just search the house and be creative with it. you can take a tape and paste it into a folder, or weave ribbon through the hole punched in the folder (if you do the drills will be used)

You can also use things like mint boxes for paper clips, old record albums or folders .. it would be cool, find something old record album to the garage sale or just stick paper, cut or two open sides and find a way to put pockets in it, or may be elastic so that it will closed, but you may need to cut it to size so it will not be bulky in your backpack.

You can also use attractive wrapping paper to cover your books .. or perhaps you can find an old vintage poster and the cover of a textbook with that. Find yard sales, vintage stores if you have around you .. I found an old Super Mario Nintendo posters in the crawlspace under my house hahah

so just do a little hunting and keeping things as concert or movie and use these tickets

but make sure what ever you decide to do .. rugged, and you do not have crap hanging all your commands, which could fall or something like that. you want it to last all year

I am like you, I love DIY projects and visual arts. A simple way to generate ideas is to go to Wal-Mart and look at the line of scrapbooking. Two years ago in my first year in high school, I got all my coils, and printed mathematical symbols and equations in pink ink and published them in a form collage on the cover of my spiral Algebra. So sorta think the subject and make a sort of abstract style that relates to the class. I remember my homework folder for all classes, I took a bunch of pictures of my friends and framed photos and placed them atop a small bunchof different peices of fabric and sequins scattered around for background. For my English I made the cover of my favorite book "The Mediator" series and placed in several different colors to resemble a checkerboard pattern.
If you love to draw, you can always just sketch a landscape or something cool that you like .. I draw anime and realistic people, more scenery, so I called a group of my three best friends in front of the beach that resembled Hawiya and placed it on top of one of my folders.
Whatever your choice until the end, I bet it will be a great and deffinately an eye-catcher for the compliments. Good luck!

The laptop itself, I suppose you could use stickers if you have a sleeve or case that is annoying, you can always use fabric paint to make your own designs and make it more fun or binders and backpacks. collages, notebooks and things could work I did one of my folders in a huge and covered with packing tape, the same thing with my dividers. Another idea is to get the binders cloth with cool artwork on it and stick it on.

ahh I do it all the time =) go to AC Moore and buy embroidered letters, intended for customization, and you can either iron or glue them on if it is not fabric! very cute idea and good luck!
