Is there a chance of me becoming a high school teacher in Toronto, Ontario, Canada? I am currently 15 years and I am seriously considering being a science secondary teacher education, history, and perhaps French (havent made up my mind to that one yet). I will not really become a teacher but I would now like the real chances of me this chance. I ask this because I constantly hear how the schools are closed and teachers are fired because their arent enough students.
You get there if you want to stay true to your goal with determination, are you qualified through education, government, relatable any paid work or even volunteer work experience with transferable skills that are useful for this work, and never give up or compromise on your goal, and completely ignore all the bad news, and you get there. There will never be a situation where teachers are required to zero, and employment of teachers are available, and your commitment to this profession of good reasons to hire you.
As with all discouraging news about less schools etc., remember even during the economic depression of the 1930s some people became and remained high, and some of the opulence and beautiful and powerful sports cars have been produced at that time ... those who bought them and the designers and manufacturers of these vehicles have not given simply because of all the news of the deep economic depression, they have succeeded anyway. Never give out your goal, go do it!
If you go to school for teaching, you will probably find a job. Just go to school for a degree in education, thinking that way. If you're 15 and you graduate when you are 22 or 23 think all teachers who have retired by then (7 or 8 years.). Hey, if nothing else, start your own high school!
