How would you rate these brands of laptops (computers) on a scale from 1 (lowest) to 10 (best)? I'm looking to buy a new computer soon. What are your views on notbook brands are the best bang for your buck and what brands I avoid? If there is one thing I have not mentioned on the list, please feel free to tell me. Buying a good computer is so difficult! I'm torn between a MacBook Pro, Sony Vaio ( http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... it is for sale! ... and other books (too many links to list) ... oh please give me your opinion on the Vaio as well .... and other opinions! Any help! Thanks Yahoo Answers ... Here's my list:
1. Apple (Mac)
2. Sony (Vaio)
3. HP
4. Dell
5. Toshiba
6. Door
7. eMachine
1. Sony (Vaio)
2. Dell

I like Sony. Their books have come so far. 899 is a good deal for this laptop. I had Sony Laptops and desktops and I've never been unhappy with the purchase of one or the other.
Like other Dell computers .... has great customer service. I had a Dell that was a total lemon, but the service I received was so great that I would buy another Dell in a heartbeat. I would call and say something wrong and I would like to have either a technology at home the next day or part there the next day to put in.
Apple ... honestly, I put Apple at number 3 comes from word of mouth. I've never had an Apple Ummm because I always hated Mac PC so that seeing the Apple brand turns me off (though I personally would not buy an Apple notebook)
My niece has a Toshiba laptop and I used ... it is good ... I'll stick with my Sony, but if I gave him one I would not bark at it.
Gateway used to be the largest company .. you do not hear much about them that you used for good.
Emachines Emachines (if I was given one I sell on Ebay .... because I do not want the hassle of it. Have so many questions it is not enough. Of course eMachines PCs are aa of inferior quality, it makes sense, they will not be as high quality as some of the others.
Of course, when it comes to him .... When you buy a PC, you must obtain what is going to please you what features you want and what you are comfortable with. The Sony has everything you want in a laptop? If so go ahead .... if it is to keep looking. It's like buying a new pair of shoes .... your best friend can tell you all day They look great on you, but how do they feel when you walk in them? So how does Sony feel when you look at the stats?
Good luck and I hope you enjoy your new PC everything you choose!
1. Apple and Dell (Dell is the best running Microsoft ... Microsoft is good for the computer and things, but if you use the computer for photo editing or video editing, I would go to the apple) models: Dell Inspiron 1420, 1520 or Dell XPS, Apple MacBook Pro
2. HP offers the model: Presario
3. Sony VAIO
4. Toshiba
5. door
6. eMachines.
Vaios are very good as the Toshibas.
HP and Dell are not very good. I'm on my third power cord about a year and a half. My first broke, the second started smoking (yes, like fire, smoke, and its happened to people I know too much) and Dell tend to break down and take a long time to fix.
I do not know about bridges and I do not think eMachine It is very easy to upgrade or replace parts in.
I do not know much about the MacBook Pro since I'm not a big fan of Apple Macintosh interface / and.
