Help please? I use this personal statement to get into college what do you think of it, (it is well written and convincing?) Can I add something to make it better?
At school, I am studying for my GCSE English, English literature, mathematics, Higher, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, media studies, sociology and drama. In addition, I am a Junior Sports Leadership Award. I think the GCSE I chose a wide range of topics which I think is a good idea if I'll have a wide range of knowledge at the end of my GCSEs. I love all my subjects of study in particular biology, chemistry and mathematics that I am hoping to study next year at sixth form or college. At school I'm predicted A and A * in all my subjects and I am always punctual and have a very good attendance rates.
I am a very nice person and I love talking to new people and people I already know because I think it is important to have a wide range of friends. I am also very confident that I am able to communicate well with people of all ages, which is very important in a school environment. I would also say I am very sociable as I enjoy going out and meeting new people, although I understand the importance of studying and I do not want to take the way of my schoolwork. My experience studying at Burntwood have led me to become more autonomous, organized and disciplined that I know will help me when I go on to study e Sixth Form or College.
In my free time I go, I also enjoy swimming, tennis, badminton and occasionally netball. Besides that, I attended Tooting gymnastics club for 6 years and I took the park in many classes, including sports acrobatics. When I left I had moved into the team is the most advanced group. I liked it because I made many friends, who I want to continue to be friends with even if I stay. I also appreciated because I learned many new skills and I love learning new things. I think it helped me to listen to the instructions in the gym because you have to listen to instructions to be sure. I also appeared in numerous exhibitions held in our club because that is where I learned the importance of dedication and how to work effectively under pressure.
In summer, I have experience working in the shop in Regent Street where Lacoste I really liked as I learned more independence, I also feel I've become more mature since working in a adult work environment. I had an interview before being accepted into my work experience and I was very pleased with myself when the Director of Retail, Richard Potzesny said they were going to accept. I also learned how to use my initiative more, as in the store is very busy and most of the time I found myself working alone. I think I have also taught me to learn quickly because the brand was French, I had to learn the design, which is different for women, men and children's clothing. I felt very proud of me when the store manager said that if there were places available next year (when I'm old enough), then take me to work during the summer.
At school I was involved in many activities, including a French residential district, a trip to the theater and another trip to Hampton Court Palace. I'm currently on the field team for the upcoming production of Bugsy Malone, I took part in this because I want to know more about the background of a dramatic production. In addition to what I'm doing a qualification in Sport Leadership junior in him, you learn to teach the children to less sport yourself. This taught me to become more confident when talking to people, while giving clear instructions. That means I can get with people younger than me. Under JSLA I taught junior sports hall, as well as managing my own swimming gala in the context of.
