Are there any sites you can really recommend or stores. free sites or you may purchase recommended, which is free of adware and spyware?.

Well, if you want free, I advise you to go because it is completely Vector resizable and vectors are made to do graphics, so to go free for Inkscape. If you are going to pay, definitely go for Illustrator CS3 or CS4.

Do not choose Photoshop, look at the name (of course, Photoshop for the photographs) and Illustrator (for illustration and drawing).
