Do each of the feathers for a calligraphy pen needs its own ink cartridges? My pen calligraphy came with four feathers, but I can not ink out of some of them. Do feathers each needs its own ink? Why does not the ink that comes out?
cartridge should work for any / all the feathers. birds must be cleaned after each use --- especially when they are removed from the main body of the pen and light. The ink can dry and clog the pen. There should be information with the stylus on the cleaning / maintenance.
if Pen is clean, just try to put the cartridge with the pen and give a slight pressure to the cartridge to encourage the ink flowing. or touch the edge of the pen of a very damp sponge with ink to flow.
Some feathers are clogged all I can say. These days I do most of my fine writing with fountain pens, because I am a Luddite and "calligraphy pens" are always such a hassle. The cartridges that came with your pen, and you buy for it should work for all your feathers. If they do not, either you have a temporary problem with clogging you must understand how to delete or you bought garbage.
