Calligraphy Techniques

Calligraphy ha sbeen recent interest of mine, and I scanned the Internet looking for websites that can help me with techniques and styles. However, they are mostly advertising to buy their services, generally for any invitations, etc.. My interest is only a hobby, and I do not intend to spend much money on a project that I find it too frustrating to discourage or prosecute, but I have the basis for the exercise.

Can anyone list of useful websites on the techniques and? It would be greatly appreciated, and please do not tell me to google. It's frustrating, especially since I have already done, and a variety of search engines.

I developed an interest in it when I was a child and received a Speedball pen and a beautiful booklet with it. This book explains how to load the pen with the ink, how to apply the pressure right, and how to establish the pen far from a perfect race. The challenge was, especially because I am left handed, and the illustrations are all right-handed!

See if you can find this book. I would look on eBay, that now it would be a vintage item. It was just a pamphlet really, maybe 48 or 64 pages, but it many times and spent many happy hours working on my scripts.
