INTRODUCTION
The incisions in the head and neck are of particular importance because of the presence of a large number of vital anatomical structures and also for aesthetic reasons. Damage to structures such as nerves in this region should be avoided by careful planning of the incision. The scars of incisions in this region are well exposed and are not normally hidden by clothing usual. Good planning and technical incision and closure is the only choice to avoid such scarring.
BASICS

- Near the area to be addressed
