Children's School Uniforms

Today I was talking about school uniforms, I had to wear all my high school education. It's something I do not mind, and actually have preferred to find something different to wear each day.
The person I spoke with (who also had to wear a uniform) said she hated her own, and believes that wearing a uniform to school, reduces the chances for children to make friends outside their clan, and not allow them to develop the personality of each.
I do not know how to wear a uniform for a few hours five days a week lifting child development.
uniforms day? Do you think they do reduce children fighting because of what they choose to wear to school?
Did / do you wear a uniform and what are you thoughts on that?

I was even in elementary school and middle would have been a high school if I hadnt moved. I think uniforms are a good idea because you could be more focused on school work, then having to worry about buying clothes for the entire school year, and you can save money. also, you can wear your regular clothes on the weekend, and if you want to add a personal touch to your uniform, you should always wear earrings or something nice. I agree with you though!

uniforms, their individuality is little left in the individual, unless personality (which is good and bad depending on whether you really care if your pants are on your shirt)

I do not wear a uniform, but would not mind. I agree with the convenience of not choosing something to wear every day, and I can not say I've never made or not made friends on the basis of the clothes I wore. There are many other ways to express a personal style of your clothes, in my opinion.

School uniforms are compulsory at the school both in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
It avoids having your teenager spend 1 hour trying different outfits on 5 morning.
It avoids competition among peers to people who can buy the most expensive jeans hottest designer.
It eliminates awkward legs enemy of fashion for children who have not really taste the way they dress.

Well, they are really outdated. You do not get freedom if. Everybody wears the same thing, they can not really tease you about how you look.

I do not wear uniforms, and I think uniforms should be for private school, it goes to ruin if we relaxed style to wear.

I did not particularly uniform because everyone looked eachother and my school even banned hooligans because they were linked to gangs. One reason for uniforms are suppose to prevent you from dressing outragously right? Some girls [most sluts sex] "cheating" the goal of a button shirts very low and it reveals the gap so that the purpose of the uniform would be a little defeat. But the uniforms might be a morning much easier. Instead of taking the time to choose a nice outfit, you just wear the uniform and go. It does not matter what you wear, the fighting will always go on ~

My children have attended schools that have uniforms. I really like them and support uniforms in all schools. He has a way to equalize all children. It is not so much emphasis on clothing, and academics. The town where I live now in the process to require uniforms in all public schools. I do not see any negatives. It also reduces the "OMG-what should I wear to school?" drama.

YES! As a child I went to a school with uniforms grade 1-5 and it was awesome! So, without stress ... no worries about what to wear. I loved it!
