How do I know if I can use my laptop in China? I will be visiting China soon, and I'll take my Inspiron 9400 with me. I was wondering if it is able to use their power points, or what kind of adapter I need (and where to find it). They said new laptops like mine are capable of international use (performance slow down a bit but o), but I'm not sure if this is correct. Any help would be welcome.
Thank you.
Well, your laptop must have an adapter that converts the electricity to something they can use the computer. All modern computers have now and its just the box-like thing thats in the middle of the cord. If you're still unsure, you can read the terms of the entry, printed on it. The beaches must be good enough for all outlets. It wouldnt function any slower than usual but you must obtain another source of Internet connection.
China uses 220 V, 110 V uses U.S.
you need special adapter for the plug, it can be taken in Chinese stores
