Liberia is an often overlooked, influence colonial city located in the heart of Guanacaste. Liberia is a cowboy town that has many exciting festivals offering visitors a glimpse of Costa Ricas colonial past. The Republic of Liberia is a country on the west coast of Africa, bordered by Sierra Leone, Guinea and Ivory Coast. A provincial business casual is a good springboard for the national parks of Rincon de la Vieja and Santa Rosa.

Known for its Spanish style of the Arctic also sometimes known as the Ciudad Blanca or White City because of the ubiquitous white facade cleared of all buildings. Liberia has a certain allure history, with its checkered red and white buildings with a roof. A visit to this dusty colonial town gives the visitor a feeling of fields past.

The size of Liberia and its local resources have been seized recently expanded too. The city now boasts an international airport which also responds to some local charters. Liberia International Airport has become a popular entry point for travelers who intend to hit the beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula.

One of the main attractions of the city of Liberia is the various festivals held throughout the year. These festivals usually lively parades, roaming mariachis, colorful dress, good food and fun. The biggest festival and the warmest is the Dia de Guanacaste July 25. This event is a celebration of the independence Guanacaste Nicaragua in 1812.

Another interesting attraction is the bull of Liberia that various open all year. These bullfights are not made in the same direction as their Spanish counterparts. The bullfights are usually composed of dozens of local Ticos, usually halfway dead on fermented corn beer, the local race around the ring displaying their bravery against an angry bull mass.

There are many different housing options throughout Liberia. More often than not, travelers have been successful finding housing very affordable.

The city also has a variety of restaurants and restaurants that offer visitors a taste of the cuisine of local cowboy. There are also a few eco tourism resorts upscale hotel located just outside of Liberia. These resorts provide guests with upscale accommodations combined with easy access to nearby cloud forests.

The climate consists of dry season and wet season. The dry season from December to April is high season, when most visitors come and accommodation are at their most expensive. Weather during the wet season from May to November, usually consists of sunny mornings with rain showers in the afternoon and evening.
