Digital Notepad? Digital Notepad?
Are Digital Notepad & have handwriting recognition software? Is it useful? Thinking of buying one, but do not know if it's worth the money?
Hiya,
The answer depends on what you plan to use it. If you want the convenience of just scribble down your notes, and not worry about typing your notes later, then the writing / digital notepad is a good idea - although you'll have to spend time initially get to correctly identify your style of writing, and translating this information into a typed message or a piece of text ready for printing immediately or at a later date.
The same applies for software recogition voice, in most cases, it must be trained to recognize what you are trying to enter. Then the computer will attempt to make information (a voice entry or writing), and convert that information is available for use in a specific program of your choice.
Basically something that will take your normal method of writing / spoken instructions, and makes the data usable by a specific program (to save time), then the result is available for either print or save for later use . Most or all of these types of programs you start with a sort of Wizard (teaching tool), the use of this software will more accurately reflect the input (voice or handwritten data) in a piece of usable information / data for use with another program. Such as either print or save for use immediately or at a later date.
If it is a good remedy for you, then the software is a good idea to buy. If you feel you can not use such software, then it is not worth the extra expense.
Hope this helps,
Alex
