What to do with children during the winter in New York? I take care of two 3 1 / 2 years old girls on the Upper West Side during the week. Even if the idea of let them sit in front of the TV all day sounds good in the cold, I do not want to do. They love going to the park but it is difficult during cold days, they also like the drawings.
Any suggestions on places inside (in Manhattan) with activities for children such as drawing and painting, storytelling (not too expensive), will be welcome.
I'm sure some of the Manhattan Public Library volunteers who tell stories to children in libraries. Check your locals.
It's a bit expensive ($ 10 / person), but they would enjoy the Children's Museum: http://www.cmom.org/
-Do some physical activities. Go to Pier 40, and HAV soccer fields, basketball courts, and two huge jump racing (they like big playgrounds chuck'e'cheeses think both r-10)
