Drawing The Female Form

Posted on May 16, 2010.
Drawing The Female FormOk so im in the drawing, especially the female form, and not naked, but only daughters, questions. Need help?

When it comes to drawing, there are many things that need to be well made to be called art. My biggest question. This is not to be seen as evil or anything, but I need to know that my art come to life. Question 1: When you draw a women's clothing (of course) How can I, uh ... shadow around the chest. when they are in clothing, they have dark areas and areas of light as one that has shadows. Have you wut I mean. Where would i light and dark shadows around the top, bottom, sides, where. 2: This question is not just for drawing female, but humans in general. when you draw the neck and head, you do not always want to look right, you want the life in your drawing, how do i shade and shape of the curve of the neck, I can make the head , looks away, but the neck is turning my biggest problem. I draw a lot of people in cars, what I see when I go camping, I'll stay here and draw, but I have all there for me. HELP iwrd

Seriously, it is best to practice with no sails (nice way to say naked) model. It is much easier - that way you can get the forms in the correct clothing. If you can not enter into a sort of figure drawing of a model class, find a copy of "Anatomy for the Artist" by Sarah Simblett. It's expensive, but it took a lot of good photos to help you get your proportions and shades down.
Remember, draw what you see, not what you know.

the shadow under the chin and jaw, pull the breasts and under the shadow

The shadow is always on the opposite side of the light. Thus, the shadow can be anywhere because the light source can be anywhere. Usually, the light source is in the top right or left. I recommend this book: Drawing the Head and Figure by Jack Hamm. This is one of the most valuable books for the drawing. You can get to the art shop offers the most and on Amazon.com. Keep drawing.

depends on where the lights are coming from. If you want to draw you observe your environment all the time.

You are looking for a 3D effect on a 2D medium. You need to duplicate all the lighting is naturally present in the image. If the light source is above, then the shadow under the chin, breasts, between the arms and torso, and any other area where light is limited. research photographs and other pictures / drawings for a clearer picture of what is needed. And do not be afraid to watch men live in the street. Very useful.
