Drawing TherapyIndians use art therapy to reduce anger

Like the rest of the global village, the Indians also feel anger, that first, the powerful emotion that seems to take over our lives, consuming our thoughts.

Indians use a technique of art therapy, drawing "Mandala," to help calm and express their anger in a prudent and controlled.

Mandala is Sanskrit for "circle". In this circle the Indians say there are no rules, a space where you are alone. A place where you can let your feelings are like a swirl of colors and lines.

The Times of India has recently published an article on how this process works.

How Mandalas work

Participants find that, once finished drawing a mandala angry, they are tempted to establish a new, a happy, because anger was released through artistic expression. If you have anger management issues, perhaps you should give it a try.

Participants like Mohinani Manju said:

"We get lost in the colors and movement of your hands and then express yourself clearly, without even realizing it. The best part is that when you do mandalas you do not think you're so lost in the drawing. You do not think you work on yourself, it's so easy and fun. "

Manju is a real advocate of drawing mandalas - is how she treats as her anger for years, saying it does on paper and crayons and let go. Once the drawing is finished, she felt at peace with itself again.

The design is all it takes

Drawing a mandala is very simple. Just a sheet of paper and a box of crayons or colored pencils, the kind used in schools by children is very good. Mandalas are not an art, so you do not need to worry about their appearance or if you do well or poorly. You're not trying to create a masterpiece, the point of design is to express what you feel.

Manju wrote:

"To outline a mandala angry, sit and feel your anger. When you feel it clearly takes the color that works best. Then draw a circle on the paper and let emerge the feelings themselves. Let expressed within the circle, regardless of the means of lines or colors to come. Do not censor yourself and do not think, just let go. "

Participants are mandala design is something that is easy to do, and it's a new way to reveal your true feelings, break some limits and demonstrate that you are in control. And of course, if you are in control, you can take steps to resolve the problem that caused the anger.

The advantages of drawing Mandalas and what they can mean

The main reason for drawing a mandala is to be a OULET of anger, but sometimes people see some significance in that they have developed.

If you give a mandala test, a look to see if your drawings are full of "fighting against" the spirit, passion and frustration shown by the heavy, jagged, red lines? The drawings consist of softer, gentler color, curved lines to show you are more depressed and apathetic about your situation?

Red, brown or black are the typical colors of mandalas angry. The shapes and positions are also quite indicative of inner feelings. The overlapping shapes and black crosses and show a lot of anger. Anger overflows when your drawing exceeds the limits of the circle.

Mandalas provide a way of coping with the tumultuous events in our life, providing an almost childish way to express themselves and have fun. You may find that drawing helps you understand more about the cause of your anger.
