Is an ESL teacher salaries different from a regular teacher? If yes what is the difference do they earn less?
Generally not, he pays the same. Assuming that teachers have a union contract, all teachers are "teaching" and are paid the same level.
I imagine that some neighborhoods pay a premium for ESL teachers if there is a shortage, but a specific instance does not come to mind.
They do not earn less - in fact, sometimes they receive an allowance (additional $ 3,000 - $ 5,000) for this post. It depends on the district. No less just because they teach ESL.
