Athlete Preparation California are the best in the nation? Well, yes, absolutely Copyright Āc 2009 Ed Bagley
There is a reason why California is the state continuously high production in the country for monitoring and talent on the field. This is because a population of 36 + million people, the highest in the nation.
Knowing that the second most populous nation is Texas with 24 million, then to New York with 19 million, well, you get the point.
So just what is the size of California's 39 million inhabitants? Well, you could take the total population of Wyoming, Vermont, North Dakota, Alaska, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Kansas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Iowa and the result will always be a lower combined state of California 36 + million people.
In other words, the total population of 21 states would not exceed the population of California.
This makes the talent pool of California the best of the best, if not ahead of the rest in all cases. Among the 49 boys and girls events below, California has the current national leader in 12 (24%) and two new U.S. holders of high school records this season.
As a leading California 25 individual boy, Reggie Wyatt in the top 3 events, the 400, the 300 hurdles and 400 hurdles. Randall Carroll doubled in the 100 and 200, Mac fleet doubled in the 800 and 1600, and Mason Finley doubled in the shot and disc.
Among the 24 leaders of California individual girl, Jordan Hasay is on top, 3, 1500, 1600 and 3200. Ashton Purvis doubled in the 100 and 200 Kori Carter doubled in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, and Anna Jelmini doubled in the shot and disc.
All athletes in individual events are seniors unless otherwise indicated after their name. There are six juniors, one sophomore and no freshmen.
