Freeware Drawing ProgramUsing graphics - Vs popular software. Freeware Alternatives

The need for graphics software is something that has increased exponentially with the development of modern computers, the Internet and, of course, the digital camera. The exact use for it varies not only between different users, but the different tasks of a single user want to finish - photo retouching is the private family album, create elements for your blog or website or make a brochure for your private business. And we expect to complete all these tasks in one program - two at the top. It goes without saying that we expect a lot of graphics software we choose to use. Now, for many users, both professional and home users semi-professionals, Adobe Photoshop is the obvious choice. Some love and swear Paint Shop Pro, the cheaper alternative, Corel, while millions of PC users are satisfied with what Microsoft and Apple ship their operating systems. Now, those who fall into this latter category can not find this article as useful as those belonging to the first two, the simple photo retouching tools they already installed with their operating system that meets their needs. For the rest of you, however, read on to see what other free software options available to you and why you should or should not choose to use instead. I will divide the section into categories to help you draw your own conclusions about what software will work, hopefully without costing you money.

1 Support
Many users of commercial software to find this very important point when they decide which package to use. Does the software support my printer graphics tablet / / import camera / scanner / OS - and if not, will they offer me to help solve the problem? The answer with commercial packages - Yes and no. All offer extensive support to developers of software, usually via e-mail, phone or chat, and so they have the answer to your question in their databases, they'll give. For more complex problems, however, the poor, underpaid technician may not be able to help you - and, contrary to popular belief, one of the great advantages of Open Source Software (OSS). OSS has the advantage of being followed by a strong community - not only with graphic artists who are using the software, but programmers who helped develop the actual code itself. In other words, you may be able to get an answer directly from the source, and even someone to help you create a patch for you. This is something that Adobe, Corel and Microsoft would never offer. On the other hand, for these responses may be a bit more complicated than picking the phone. It may take a consultative forums, a few emails, and some wait until the problem is resolved. Now, the last type of software version, which is also free, is professional software developers that release their software for free. They may have different reasons for that. Some release their old versions for free, while newer versions cost money - like a demo solution, but better (remember, this version was most recently a year ago). Some do it just for publicity - perhaps they have other software they sell at a higher price, and just want to draw your attention. The back of downloading these alternatives is that most of them offer no or very limited support - in other words, if you encounter problems, you're on your own.
To summarize, the Open Source projects may actually provide the best support in the long term, even if it takes a little research to find your answers, but software professionals are tested for months before its release, generally support most drivers and equipment built in, and can eliminate the need for support in the first place. If you need.
