Glass Calligraphy Pens

I just entered and I have a calligraphy pen and ink glass for Christmas - I used pens with feathers normal and I practiced my writing and stuff, but now I ' I pen this glass and I'm stuck. How is it supposed to work? I have trouble ...

a good glass pen has "grooves" to provide ink to the point. Soak it in ink and you will write a monoline. Can not say if it works or not until you try, the more often it is more decorative than quality tools. Not much more than "toys" ... better tools to do more for the money are available. I know people who have several of them (all received a gift) and perhaps works decently.
