What kind of jobs are there for former teachers or those with a bachelor of science education? Next year I'm scheduled to graduate from college. (MAY 2008) I am now having second thoughts abut becoming a teacher. teaching students opened my eyes! I'm going to graduate with my concentration being, but I want to go into another profession.
There are many jobs available to people with university degrees and I suppose you'll get a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor. The fact that you have a degree will open many doors for you and not just in your discipline. Check the job market, submit your resume online and see what you get hits. I know that you have learned many skills that employers seek.
I can understand where you come from, exactly! It's too bad there are so many restrictions on teachers these days and too bad there are so many young really bad!
If you have a high concentration of science, try pharmaceutical research. They are always looking for good candidates to fill many jobs in research. Once you're hired, you may be able to specialize on the job, or take courses to help you hone in on specific skills. It is a very interesting area and you will be filling a need by helping to make a great need for new compounds on the market and improve people's lives.
