Lenovo G230 Notebook

I used this laptop LENOVO G230 for over a year on an OS window vista. A few days ago I was asked to download the service pack and to download I was unable to use asking me to reinstall the operating system.
I tried to use the One Touch and restore at the end he said the boot manager missing. I could not turn on or reformat the laptop.
Anyone can give me advice on measures that can help recovery.

It is the Windows Vista installation disc, not the recovery disk.

Boot from this disk, and the screen where it says "Install Windows" at the bottom of the menu / window is an option for "Repair Windows". Once u hit another window will come and there will be an option there to solve the problems start.
