Linksys Notebook AdapterHow do I connect to internet with my notebook adapter from Linksys and Verizon FiOS?

Ive got a Dell Latitude laptop with Windows XP on it, and im trying to connect to the Internet via my Linksys wireless network adapter-b. When I go into the configuration, the Linksys box says "you are connected to the access point, but the Internet can not be found." can someone help me find on the Internet? or what I can do to get on Internet Explorer with my laptop?

by the way a few other details

Windows XP Notebook Adapter Wireless-B, Verizon FiOS broadband connection (with Actiontec router MI424WR)

If you have connected a second router to router Verizon, this may be your problem. If this is what you did, then most likely the two routers are acting as a DHCP server, which is causing a conflict. To fix this, you must disable the DHCP server the router Verizon. Before all this trying to connect to home router with a LAN cable and see if you can connect. If you have Internet access, so what I just described is the problem. If it still does not, something might be a problem with your current Internet connection.
