How extensions work for your company Marketing is a necessity when you're in business. If you want to be successful and be able to accomplish many things for your business, brand extensions to work for you is a popular technique reported by many merchants and business owners. Piggy-backing one product with another product is a best-selling marketing infallible hit. The next question now is what type of product extensions that you need to be efficient with your marketing campaign? What type of ads extension should I use to succeed?
One study has shown that brand extensions that completes a series of a product to obtain the most positive response. This means a digital photo printer would probably have more impact on your audience when you use it as an extension of your digital camera to success. Or notepad personalized with your Mont Blanc pen can get more response, for example. Here's how the research was as follows:
There were three experiments to test the reactions of the target audience to brand extensions that have been promoted. The first experiment showed the participants four different versions of an advertisement for a popular brand of digital camera with a "new" extension. There were two goals that were similar to products of the parent company and two who have not the same as elements of society. The first showed brand extensions of the digital camera plus a digital photo printer. The latter provided a snowboard and snowboard boots. Then the next two experiments introduces different factors. There were two different parents, and then two options have a target extension announced on its own or with multiple extensions.
Clearly, research has shown that the formula extensions have a complete package that was found to have greater impact, as well as those produced piggy-backed with the same parent company. Both results obtained the highest score in the experiments.
So what does this mean? This suggests that when you make your market, you must provide brand extensions that complement a set of your products and services. In addition, having a set of products from a single manufacturer announced and may mean more positive response from your target audience. It seems that consumers in general are more likely to be encouraged to go for an ad that promotes products from the same brand rather than having another promotional item, such as your notebook printing , added with washer and dryer. It is logical to think in the playoffs when promoting your business.
So next time you're looking at brand extensions think in sets. You are more likely to generate a positive response from your marketing campaign.
