Notebook Computer Lock

I have a Toshiba Satellite U205-S5067 and it is 12 inches so it is fairly small and light. I invested in a combination lock laptop where I'm supposed to insert into a lock slot. And I think this, but I'm not sure that the lock would not go in. I have 2 other laptops at home that are broken, and they have the same slots and looks, but I I had to force them inside and when I tried to take them out, I had trouble and he has left traces in the slots. Is there a problem with the lock? Or maybe some phones not have slots?

This looks good for a lock slot. I also notice he has something that resembles a rubber ring, which is probably there to prevent scratching.
My blocking has also been a bit tight to insert and if my phone would ring like that, do not know if I could push the bolt in.
You can consider replacing the lock, but it should not be too loose.
