Is there something like oil pastel??? Is there something like oil pastel pencils (crayons not cause "I know that those exist), if there is anyone know whee I can buy in a store or weather line, If anyone knows a site for it.
Thank you I appreciate it!
Most of colored pencils (Prismacolor etc.) are only loosely based oil ... if the main ingredient is a waxy substance, not flaxseed oil like oil pastel sticks. The most expensive (Lyra Polycolor, Stabilo SoftColors) have a higher proportion of pigment to the wax, and one made by Walnut Hollow is supposed to be the mildest in fact called "Oil Pencil. I see Dick Blick sells these -

Just do not expect to behave like an oil pastel - it is not nearly as sweet.
In over 45 years to buy art supplies, I have never seen such a thing. I think because of the nature of soft pastel oil, they would be almost impossible to sharpen with something other than a knife. You use oil pastels for their ability to blend, which also makes them less likely to pencilhood.
I do not think they have pencils, markers, but China are similar in texture.
