Are Prisma colored pencils really worth buying? I love color and have the color but i witch regular crayons I'm pretty good with color, but my b / day is dawning, and I saw Prisma pencils. I want to know if they are worth to obtain and are as good as they seem. Please reply if you know! Thank you for your time!
Oh, I love Prismacolor colored pencils. I know they are a bit expensive but worth it, for my money. They are really easy to work with because they are so smooth, especially on textured paper as Canson. They are the best colored pencils I've ever used. And I like how there seems to be an infinite variety of colors. Well worth the money if you are serious about drawing in color.
I do not really see them very different from any of the other brands out there (we have used in art class). But they are very good pencils. :)
They are great pencils. Get soluble in water and can almost watercolor with them.
No, they tend to break easily, and after sharpening led some colors "fall from the wooden case and you have to sharpen again. And they will fall again.
I recommend Derwent pencils Coloursoft.
Well, I'll just give you what you need. Yes, they are worth every penny. They blend perfectly and they are really beautiful at the end. buy them, you will not be disappointed.
I think it depends on what you do with them. If you work professionally and you need the results of high-end, then yes. If you're drawing as a hobby and you're happy with your color already, so I do not want to bother.
They can be a pain to sharpen and work with unless you get the pencil sharpener brand prisma. This thing has made my life so much easier, haha. Overall they are fun to work with, because they are so sweet and you can get richer colors without pressing so hard with Crayola. But of course keep in mind the tool is not the artist.
