Where do you plug the mouse on Dell Inspiron 1501? I can find no place anywhere, and I'm not computer retarded. Does anyone know?
USB port.
The sheet "green" is known as PS / 2. By design a computer motherboard has only one PS / 2 mouse and keyboard PS / 2 port. On a laptop, your PS / 2 mouse is used by the construction of the touch pad. Ditto for the keyboard. Only you do not see the ports because they are on the motherboard. You are left with USB as your only option. A USB mouse can be purchased for $ 12 from NewEgg. (See links source.)
the green plug will not enter in the laptop, they do not have a port for it. its only for desktops. If your talking about the USB mouse, just plug into the USB port. if a mouse is green, you must buy a converter. It is a USB wireless that connects to the USB port of PC and it has a port for desktop mouse and you just plug the green plug into the outlet, but the last time I checked I think (not sure) they cost like $ 40 which, if it is not worth it, you can buy a new USB mouse very good for about $ 35
If you mention this plug purple or green, then you will not find him, such as laptops do not have these ports, you have to see how a keyboard and touchpad as it is.
