architects' plans incorrect. New roof does not match the drawings. Can we get smaller neighbors. architectural drawings totally misleading. New roof, much higher than shown in the drawing the building permit was granted. enforcement officer may require that it be changed because, by design
If it was a sketch, the architect receives a margin of maneuver, if a drawing is finished, it fogged. It is easy to change the slope of the roof around, if nothing is done.
If the height of the roof violates the building code in your area, then it is a violation.Sounds like your neighbors have a case.
You can have recourse against the architect for damages. Check with your local corrupt.
Drawings and plans are constantly changing for several reasons: to meet the codes, standards and regulations; personal preferences of a person (s), structural, and so on.
I do not know anything about legal issues, but plans change all the time.
If the architect he has somehow, the Contractor shall construct in this way. An architect drawings show that the final product. The final product should look like drawings. If not, the drawings have not been followed. If there was a conflict in the drawings, the contractor should have caught before it gets built wrong.
on commercial jobs, we have anything cannot change without the architect's revised plan ... even if we know what he wrote will not work ... I would say to the architect and restated ... There's an old saying in construction that will ... "Anyone can make an a * s * s hole on a sheet of paper, but its another thing to do s * h * i * t. ..
Is that correct drawings of the architects and the contractor simply do not know how to read drawings and the contractor dimensions. Is correct and do not know how to tell the architect there a way problem.Either an inspector building does not pass the roof if it is in architectural drawings violations.Your code have to meet all building codes and subject to planning review before being stamped.
You can call your office building inspectors with the license number and ask them to come and see what happened wrong. The responsibility might be in the hands of the contractor. I would not sign any checks until everything is in print.
