Banners Season Back to school sale banners One of the busiest times of the year for many retailers is the return of high school. It is a great time to design a custom banner that will attract more customers in your store and your merchandise. In designing an attractive custom vinyl banner that stands out, you can be assured that your back to school sales will be a success.
Here is an example of how a retail store can use a return to school banner, from the initial design of the actual display to increase their sales.
Our store sells many different samples articles of clothing to supplies and shoes. This type of store may very well during the rush back to school because it is easier for customers to buy everything they need in a store. However, this store has to make this clear on their banner for attracting the most attention.
In this spirit, the graphics to be used on the promotional banner will be carefully examined. They should represent the actual products that are sold in the store. For example, jeans, shirts, notebooks and pencils could be used to support the main message of the banner.
Once the vinyl graphics have been selected, the main message should be written. Again, bearing in mind that the point of the banner is to let people know they can get all their supplies in one place, the message must contain this information. Our sample store decides to use the phrase "all school supplies to 25% Back" as the message center with a phrase, "Get all your supplies under one roof" above the main message
.
Now the store knows what vinyl sign will say, it is time to choose colors that will be used on the sign. Since this is a return to school sales, the primary colors that are bright and vibrant should be used. This means that the yellow, blue and red are highly recommended throughout the sign. The background color should be easy to read in, but still catchy. In this case, a yellow background is used. The main text message will be displayed in blue, with the message in red secondary.
The graphics should also follow this color scheme, especially if they are images of art online. Green and other bright colors can be introduced into the overall color scheme to make the finished product pleasing to the eye. It is important to avoid overuse of color, however, as this will create a visual disturbance.
Now that the design of the banner is completed, it is time for the bank to decide where they will hang their new banner. Their location is in a business district, but they have no close competitors or neighbors. This gives the store a few more options for displaying their banner vinyl. To attract the most attention, and because the store is located off the sidewalk, the banner will be hung above the entrance, the existing overhang. This will ensure that people walk and drive by the desire to easily see the banner sales.
