Is your back killing you? - Maybe your president!
How can you produce your best work if you're sitting in an uncomfortable chair?
Have you fussy pain in the lower back, you? your neck? Or your shoulders?
Maybe its time to look more closely at the chair you're sitting. How is it designed?
For hundreds of years there was no change in the basic design of the classic
President. The seat has been set at an angle of 90 degrees to the record - a form of "L".
Some of these additions to the top of the standard chair for use in offices were: -
A pivoting action which allows the user to swing around - perhaps the designer was
fascinated by Merry-go-rounds!
Then it was up and down wonderful action hydraulic lift. Short People
stature should come with a footrest of a kind if they wanted to be relatively
comfortable at work. A common drawback of these devices, at least in the early days,
was that the gas leaked from the system, then the seat "let you down."
An addition to the following office chair "was the provision of arms.
It was not until the 1970s, a major change to the basic "L shape" of the office chair
has emerged through studies and research of Dr. AC Mandal in Denmark, which has been
one of the pioneers in offering the advantages of a seat tilted forward. Dr. Mandal was
found that the only way he could sit without incurring back was to examine
before the front legs of his chair. He also noted that many students do the
same thing in trying to relieve back pain caused by badly designed school furniture.
Mandal recommended that the seat should be tilted forward by 15 °. When we take up
This position of our spine does not need to flatten to assume the seated posture
and our hips and trunk are in the best position to balance the muscles.
Tilt your head forward you change your center of gravity behind the sitting bones
(Pin) directly above. Therefore the muscles have to stretch
up or maintain a contract erect posture. At the same time the lumbar curve (or
lordosis) is restored and the pressure on your discs is reduced.
Some of the most common objections to early versions of the chair have been pitched: -
You tend to slide forward.
Too much weight was placed on the feet.
your clothes tend to "ruck up.
chairs knees bent forward have been produced to incorporate suggestions Mandal - using a knee rest to prevent slipping forward.
Most weight gain is on his knees and anything that reduces the pressure on discs,
muscles had to work harder to maintain an upright posture because there is no record. As
your muscles get tired there is a natural tendency to stoop.
In addition to these problems, your knees and shins can become very ill after a while
since there is no possibility of changing the position of the knee. On and off the chair
is somewhat difficult because of the interference of the central pillar.
Despite the various drawbacks mentioned, however, several thousands of these chairs have been
sold because of the relief obvious given the disc through the seat tilted forward
relieve the spine.
President of the balance Kneelsit
When you allow the seat to tilt forward from your pelvis rotates forward, this posture
produces less stress on muscles, tendons and discs, as your spine is
correctly aligned.
It also draws the chest, lung capacity increases and makes breathing easier, and
improve the functioning of the heart and blood circulation, it also lets you open
abdomen, which facilitates digging.
