Math matters hypothesis, can someone help me? write a null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis in each example, in symbolic terms
1. The average age of teachers at the school was more than 35 years.
2. The average annual household expenditure on fast food was equal to $ 3,450.
3. The average monthly number of customers a store has been at least 520.
4. The average weight of newborn calves has been more than 70 pounds.
Number 1
Null Hypo: The average age of teachers in schools is not equal to 35 years.
Alternative: The average age of teachers is equal to 35 years
Number 2
Null: The average annual household expenditure on fast food is more than $ 3.450 / $ 3.450 under
Alternative Household spending on average fastfood is equal to $ 3,450
just follow the format
If you mean the symbolic level, usually the format is written this way
Null X (usually written in bar x) is not equal to (use the equal sign with the bar in the middle) 35
Alternative X = 35
