What can I do with these little pencils? I am one of the last people in my company still uses pencils. Since I use them often, I throw a large number of small pencils on. The lengths vary from five inches and a half to four inches.
I was wondering if there was an organization that collects used office supplies. Some time ago I heard, if a group of children used to collect some school and office supplies for the needy. As for children who are at home, but much less go to school.
Does anyone know what I can do with these little pencils? I do not wish for them to go to waste where little hands could get some use from them.
Check with your local grade schools and if they do not seem to need them, discuss with their art teacher. The art teachers are generally used for community projects as you mentioned or come with a use for these items. (Our art teacher took the cloth centers roll paper towels and centers and projects do with them, as old pencils, liquid laundry soap covers ... the list goes on.)
They are a great team with small tablets, and perhaps a bag house as a back pocket denim with magnets attached to the rear.
