The advantages of spiral notebook Writing longhand (much less in a laptop) is not as popular as it was, and it is not a mystery. Computers have made the job of writing much easier with a more rapid rate of text, spell check, thesaurus, ease of assembly, etc.
But there are many advantages to writing in longhand, which are neglected, the method seems outdated. I recently found a personal preference for the notebook on the laptop because of the ease of transportation and because it gives me less excuses to avoid writing.

Less excuses to avoid writing (and other benefits)
1) easier to start and stop the flip-Just open spiral notebook and go, no connection, saving, put it to sleep when you leave. The phone is always ready for you to pick it up and remove. Piece of cake.
2) Notes margins "No need to open new documents or to obtain separate sheets for items such as ideas, outlines, notes for the future, maps, drawings, things to change because the margins of room for all this. If they do not, then you can always skip a page and use it as a space for your various needs. Better organization and not interrupt your writing, stop and make a document, or stop and get a piece of paper.
3) Not more than paperless Making a name, do a little math, you remember things you need to do? Scribble it in the notebook. As mentioned above there is ample space in the notebook, and no need to deposit or leave your writing to do whatever you need.
4) A chance to edit-If you want to submit work for publication, showing to friends, or simply print a copy, you will need to type it. This gives you the opportunity to read, subtract, and add to what you wrote. In this spirit, and given the fact that you'll have room to change eventually you're forced to concentrate on writing, instead of constant change, write a little stop-edit-write.
5) form of words you write longhand Because writing is slower, you theoretically have more time to better form sentences, and a more continuous fluid (not having to stop and think) a motion by writing.
6) Easier to carry with you places-The reasons discussed in "ease of transportation" below.

Easy transport
1) Weight-Even the smallest laptops weigh 2-3 pounds, while the average laptop weighs ounces.
2) Size-much thinner and easier to store than 95% of laptops (estimated in other words, guessed everything, figure).
3) Power: "Oh no! I forgot to recharge my spiral notebook! Uh-uh, do not occur. Your time of writing is never cut short (except perhaps the need for a new writing instrument, which is rare) and there is no need to fuss over cords power.
4) The student conspicuous factor in the classroom can not whip his laptop and began writing when there is a lull in the working class, ca theater go-er is not power up their computers before the show, it is rude to bring a computer to places like church or the dinner table or a restaurant. With the spiral notebook there is no LED light, it takes up less space, it makes no noise, it is easier to go out and store, and people are less likely to bug with the "Why do you have your laptop? "
5) less likely to be stolen-laptop $ 700 or 50 cent phone? A real tough choice for a thief. With a laptop you do not have to worry about get robbed because, hey, who wants a strip of paper? And you never have to suffer monetary losses, unless of course you have completed a novel between the covers.
