Have you been a substitute teacher? If so, is there a link on how to organize or create a file for replacement only thing I found a decision of the teachers are binding and not how a substitute can organize!
Thank you.
What kind of things you want in the file? Does he have to work hand in case there are no plans for the day? I do not have very long because I have a specialty that is in high demand. However, I know that many submarines. Some of them carry a binder with lesson ideas and black line masters for activities where the teacher does not leave anything. They also often leave a note to the teacher what happened during the day with their business card attached, so the teacher can ask them if they would like. Apart from that, I'm not sure what you need to organize. It is the job of the teacher to leave a plan every day and the important information you need to know about the class. I have a folder that I leave on my desk with all the important information, just in case I'm away unexpectedly.

Your district should have training in place. Otherwise, call and ask a teacher you know or a principal at the school closest to you to give a tour of the building after school hours. Ask what their expectations. You'll need to know what level of discipline is for the classroom, a list of students, the time of the day, and if there are any special instructions. You will also need to know if their students are leaving your class to go to another speech, as, special education or something else. To find out if they are to walk in line in the corridor (elementary). Never leave your class unattended.
Yes, since January. Our schools give sub-folders with numbers and important things you need for the day. Maybe you can make your own for the campus as you often.
I am a retired teacher and I also subbed elem, One thing I suggest is that you have a scheduled day, just set aside a day for say 1-2 and 3-5 and it will ready to do YOUR OWN SURVIVAL. I can not think of my feet and had teaching experience, but not in middle school and I had in the first day at school and I am left without a role Lists, no lesson plans, books, NO TEXT Nothing, I was totally improvised, did not even know how to get a piece NEXT !!!!!!!!! But I left my head a "plan" that I had actually done elem but it seems more difficult and I survived the day very well, because you have to do as in the bottom line, you survive, if all goes well, then worry about impressing the director or the teachers or the district, but if you're a sub, as far as I know, you can not miss the room, have therefore some thing you can do to entertain, even though the teacher may have disappeared. One gal used to bring his guitar and singing with children, this may sound stupid, but once the day begins, you should be able to win, you are legally responsible for students and there one to replace you if you have to "take care of you." You have days like that!
