What are good ideas Christmas gift for a kindergarten teacher? She is in her fifties and very maternal. I do not know what to look for. Ideas? I was thinking about making her a gift card to a local restaurant, but this amount is appropriate? Should it be sufficient to cover a dinner for two or a single entry, or in between?
The card should be sufficient for a couple, if married.
know what his favorite candy or snack is and to find a coffee cup and fill it with candy and put the gift card itself.
Gift card would be nice, but the amount to depend on this course of restoration. enough for one admission for two would probably be appropriate. Other ideas
Starbucks gift card
Bath and Body Works Gift Card
part of the school-themed photos
Candle
Basket full of supplies (things like tape, stickers, stickers, things that she uses often)
Bake cookies and wrap them in decorative plastic
My son and I together made a snowman sock beautiful for her master of one year. You take men's white tube socks, turn in and fill about one third of the way full of rice, tie a rubber band that will lower half of the snowman, place them next door to fill in some Polyfiber the head of the snowman and attach with a rubber band, you have the cuff portion of the left sock, take this and fold it over the head of the snowman's hat and becomes a snowman tobogin. Then take a pipe cleaner or a black, brown or white appearance and wrap it around the neck of the snowman so that both parties are still going to be the arms of the snowman, you can bend the ends to look like stick hands, make him a little scrap of scarf and tie around the neck, decorate the rest of the Snoman with beads or other things. Give him buttons, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. I even made a jacket for ours, and I sewed on a pompom on top of his hat. I also took the cheeks and put the tip of a cotton swab and the snowman is small pink cheeks. His teacher loved it. Teachers appreciate things from their students, but especially something as beautiful as these because they can use them as decorations each year. I would like to view the image, we ourselves, but I do not know how I could send you if you look at this site http://www.craftydesignsetc.com/sweeper. ... it is similar to the one we did, only ours did not give up like that, ours has the pipe cleaner arms. It looks like two pipe cleaners, but he is alone, similar to http://www.thriftyfun.com/images/article ... They are really inexpensive to make, then you can always make something with it if you want.
I give him a few books for class! Books add up quickly, even from the Scholastic book order forms! Each year there are holiday books, choose the rare and he dedicated. Have your child color the wrapping paper to wrap them in. PLEASE no ornament teachers, cups, or similar --- it was probably too much of them!
At the dollar store, they have little know-shaped apple and they are totally cute! Colors: red, purple, green.
Or you can get him a book to read to his kindergarten class. I very siggest "The Castle in the Attic" is a very good book!
Good luck!
Probably a gift card. Depends on the place. If it is an average restaurant (like Chile or Friday) may be just $ 30 or more.
