University of Zurich and return to my home university? Okay, here's the situation:
I am currently studying in Germany for a semester. Next fall, I'll be at the University of Zurich and return to my home university in the United States.
I'm studying economics and I plan to go to graduate after my graduation (Spring 2011).
If I go to Zurich I can take many economics courses are not offered at my home university. Here are some:
Introduction to Game Theory
Economic Growth
International Finance Corp.
Behavioral Decision Theory
Applied Statistics
Investments
and others. These are all taught in English
Zurich also teaches using the Austrian school of economics.
If I return to my home university I will study a couple ECON courses, and most importantly I'm going to start courses in mathematics. I recently saw how math is for higher education. If I go to Zurich I will not be able to start the math by the spring.
Suggestions?
I suggest going to Zurich. Having an experience abroad is also a plus for higher education and the economy different. Courses can help you if you know the tricks and others in the States did not progress ... I would say it is another more. If you have money, I would go to Zurich. Good luck though in what you want:)
